Program Book
The AFLV Central 2020 program book served as a guide for a 3,000-person event with three venues and approximately 200 breakout sessions.
When submitted for Fraternity Communications Association awards, the critics wrote:
“Love everything about this program book: It's colorful, dynamic, vibrant, and the life of the conference jumps out of the pages, setting a tone for the kind of energy I'd hope to see in the conference itself. It packs A LOT of information and it's almost overwhelming in the length, but the tone and the energy and order that the layout follows made me want to keep reading and flipping to the next page.”
UIFI WOrkbook 2023
UIFI is is a four-day, three-night, immersive leadership experience where fraternity/sorority students come together to challenge conventional wisdom, discover new solutions to critical problems and accelerate progress in their fraternity/sorority communities.
The participant workbook is 104 pages of info and space for participants to work through problems and build their individual leadership skills.
I also created the accompanying facilitator workbook.
Star & Lamp Magazine
Star & Lamp is the official magazine of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. This print publication was mailed to approximately 100,000 members. I served as the editor, creative director and designer for the magazine.
In 2022, the magazine won most improved design from the Fraternity Communications Association.
Call for Programs 2021
The AFLV Call for Programs is a streamlined submissions process that outlines the requirements, goals and format of educational breakouts at 3 experiences: AFLV Central, AFLV Virtual and AFLV West.
Our goals was to improve a long, text-heavy version from 2020.
Critics said:
“It's dynamic and energetic, and solves a clear problem that it set out to fix.
AFLV's new Call for Programs is a strong and obvious example of thoughtful improvement! The new product is very busy in terms of color and amount of text but manages to create a flow where all the information is packaged and delivered in bits contained within the different colored boxes. It all flows very well despite being packed to the brim with information. It's ALMOST overwhelming, and yet manages to instead put across an amount of energy and vibrancy that they no doubt want to inspire in anyone submitting programs for consideration.”
